Due to the Covid 19 situation, my rack took longer than expected to be delivered, but now that I have it, I’m extremely impressed with the durability and convenience. The minimal footprint is also very useful, as I can still fit both cars in my standard 2 car garage. When it’s time to lift, I just pull one car out and hit it hard for an hour.

We were looking for a low profile rack for our garage (potentially folding), but we are limited in height to about 8' to the ceiling. The 7' rack was a great option for us as it is only 24" off the wall and works with our ceiling height. We like the fixed position as it is less of a barrier to getting out to the garage to workout - no setup time, just start lifting! We were super impressed with the sturdiness of the rack once it was anchored to both our wall and floor; we used a 2x12 ledger board spanning over 4 studs total at the wall, and 2 expansion bolts to anchor it into the concrete. The install took a 4-5 hours, but that's likely just because I am an amateur and watching YouTube how-to's as I go. Again, the rack is very solid even with kipping; unfortunately, the height of the bar is a little low for me to kip as I am 6' and my feet touch, but is no problem for my wife at 5'-6"; again, if we could fit the 8' rack, we would have. The finish on the rack is super nice - there were not quality issues we noticed - and the pull-up bar feels good when doing pull-ups. Lastly, the j-hooks that come with the rack are the beefiest j-hooks I have ever seen; they are still easy to relocate, but they are heavy duty and you know they aren't going anywhere; in addition, they are well protected where the barbell racks and where the j-hook meets the rack with a plastic that prevents scratching the finish on the rack or j-hooks. In shopping around for various racks, this rack is very competitively priced without any lack of quality. We have been using the rack for 3-4 weeks now, and continue to be very happy with our purchase. Lastly, delivery of the racks was a breeze. The delivery subcontractor called promptly to schedule a delivery about a week in advance, and the delivery driver called about 30 minutes before our scheduled time to double check any last minute details. He was kind enough to pull into the alley to drop the pallet off directly into our garage. Very helpful as this is a heavy order!

Fantastic quality and a great product, we have put it through it paces already and plan on expanding with additional pieces in the future.
