The American Barbell T-Grip Single Straight Handle Bar is designed to provide you with greater training variety on the gym floor. Featuring a 1-1/4" diameter (31.75MM), they fit all commercial benches and racks and now have the option of non-rotating sleeves (bar weight 30lbs) or rotating sleeves (bar weight 55lbs).

With this bar, you can perform neutral grip bench presses, bent-over rows, and deadlifts. With your palms facing each other when you perform these compound moves, you will reduce shoulder and wrist discomfort. The neutral grip also forces your triceps to track your torso more closely, enhancing your form on triceps-centric exercises. The 500- pound max user weight of this bar allows you to go heavy on your favorite lifts.

The sleeve construction is one piece, drop-forged and boltless, and has a hard chrome finish. The bar shaft is finished in black powder coat. The knurled grip on the handles allows you to train with a safer, more secure grip.

Specifications:

  • Length: 90 inches
  • Handle diameter: 1-1/4" (31.75MM)
  • High-Quality Knurled Grip
  • Safe Load Capacity: 500LBS +

Beast of a bar

Bought this to relieve some shoulder stress on some lifts where the neutral grip seems to help. The bar is big and beefy and works well for me. The selves are pure AB, matching my other bars with beautiful welds and great finish. They bar itself is not as nice, but still seems quality. The only thing I’m still getting used to is the knurl. It’s aggressive and I’m coming from an AB SS Powerbar - so it’s a big difference. But if you’re looking for this type of specialty bar, it was a good value and will last me through my lifting journey.
