Custom markings & logos are color molded into the color bumper plates create an excellent look and promote long-lasting performance.
The 140MM hard chrome hub is a solid one-piece construction and has a chamfer for easy bar loading and reduced bar sleeve wear.

Purchased a full set of the urethane pro plates (25,35,45,55). (Plus enough 45s to hit any PRs). Pros- Great color, vibrant. Seem well constructed and high quality. True to the advertised photos. Narrower than rubber plates so saves space on the bar. Very close in measured weight to listed weight. Tight fitting. Cons - as with all urethane plates, a bit slippery (universal problem with the material). I chalk them a bit which fixes the issue. General comments - very fast email response time (same or next day) and quick delivery (less than 1 week). Overall, very pleased with the purchase and have enjoyed all purchases from the American Barbell. Would highly recommend to anyone. I would purchase a Cerakote BB if they ever get one back in stock too!

These are by far the best bumper plates and completely in a league of their own. I was misled by several reviews claiming urethane plates were all made in the same factories but this couldn't be further from the truth. American Barbell produces these plates themselves and the superior quality is immediately obvious. They were shipped in sturdy, reinforced boxes and arrived unscathed. The urethane used is clearly different from others with a more matte, more vibrant appearance and a less slippery feel. The hubs are bonded tight and machined perfectly smooth with chamfering to allow for easy and quiet loading without grinding your bar sleeve. The quality control is top notch with all plates being immaculate and accurate to IWF specs. On top of all this, you get a longer warranty than other brands. Finally, the customer service is above and beyond with Mandy quickly handling all concerns. The founder himself contacted me (yes, you read that right) to answer some of the questions I had and provided a wealth of knowledge. His attention to detail and strive for continual improvement and perfection is manifest in these plates. If you want the best urethanes on the market with the greatest durability and sickest aesthetics, the American Barbell Color Urethane Pro Series Plates are it.
