These dumbbells are super high quality and great for classic strength training as well as more crossfit style functional training. The grip is great and have not torn up my hands in high volume Metcons. I also don't feel any need to use chalk, gloves or otherwise. These are just great quality hex dumbbells. Will definitely be looking to add some additional weight increments once they are available. I hadn't shopped on American Barbell previously and found them through a friend. During this pandemic, it's been very hard to find quality dumbells for vigorous training. I got fortunate and found that American Barbell had 40s available so I took the leap and made the purchase. I'd really happy I did.

I was so happy to up my weights w these from American barbell. I got some ****** weights that mark my floor during a desperate time in covid. I’m glad I upgraded and can’t wait till I have more space for more AMERICAN barbell gear
